What I'm doing now
I’m currently an MBA Student at the University of Chicago, Booth. There, I’m also pursuing a Masters in Computer Science. That’s how I got the idea to launch my own website without any of the conventional website builders. Some of you might think it’s a bit of a waste of time but I absolutely loved it. It gave me a better appreciation of how far along we’ve come along in the web that now we don’t even think about simple stuff like “how do we make this page live and where do you actually host the data?”
Anyway, at Booth, I’m exploring the intersection of marketing, AI and product. With the rise of AI and commoditization of technology and software, I think marketing is one of the most impactful fields to work in. However, I think the modern marketer needs to be well versed in the technical underpinnings of tech stacks and be able to go into the weeds – this is why I’m going hardcore on coding & developing these days (my own website and a bunch of apps).
During my MBA, I’ve advised organizations in various roles:
-
ClickUp, where I helped build AI tools for my former teammates to help them increase productivity
-
Juilliard School, where I guest lecture every semester and introduce marketing to graduate students about to launch their private teaching studios.
-
Daydream, a hot new programmatic SEO startup, where I consulted on their customer retention and sales strategy
-
MarketerHire, where I first helped execute a complex programmatic SEO build, working with their engineering team, then moved on for a brief stint as a Growth Product Manager, and now, where I am currently the team lead of the marketing org.
